Guild Events

I think that we should have guild events, kind of like GM events.... But we cant hand out tokens so... we could hand out GB withdrawls or gold... But we could have dueling tournoments and have certain prizes for certain levels. Then we could also have costume contests.. i think the costume one would be super fun.. But yeah.. It would be cool. I think it could draw in more members..

I alredy tried to organise an event, but unfortunately was canceled due to lack of players online, but i hope i will do it again, just i need to choose the right time.

organizing events could be easier if we had some type of calendar. Maybe an addon?

I think thats would be nice, but organizing an event is pretty difficult. It always has to be planned in advanced, well thought out and also relies on the members to be there to participate.

I agree with Tiggah about the calendar thing. That way we can see whats coming and when.

gl convincing the addon idea with ammel. He hates addons. What we could do is have a guild event calendar made on the site. That's much easier to access.

back in the old guild we used a GroupCallendar v4.1 or somethin. it's a cool addon, but unfortunately... u can't convince ammel on using the addon, or the members, or the guildies to register on the site, that's the most difficult part.

and sure we cant force members to join the website but it'd be more effective that way. Then we see who is actually participating in the guild, and they get the prizes

in any case, i can agree on a calender on the forum, thats a good idea:)
as for the addon, my whole addon database is buggd for some reason so even if i did agree it wouldnt work:P

but yeah, go with the Calendar on the forum idea, it would also encourage guildies to come register on the forum.

Well, i am going to be studying HTML and i will be majoring in computer sciences here at college, so i look forward to maybe helping out with helping to structure things around here. Since I will be unavailable for a lot of time in-game because of studies. I offer my services where need be.
